Alright! I'm back from my three weeks of trainin' in Orange Star. My troops ain't flabby anymore - all biceps and abs now. They were sorta layin' around too much without me there - we'll lose our combat edge if they do that.

Just before I left Lash gave me a great idea, so I started takin' photos of it while I was in Orange Star - I decided to put together a 'Men of the Orange Star Army' calendar. We could probably make a lotta money sellin' it, especially 'cause we mostly used my troops. No offense, Jake, but your guys are sorta less beefy, and Andy's are all gearheads. Sami's are pretty good, though.

Anyway the calendar. We got all of the guy COs in one shot together, bein' manly, for December. Even Hachi was in it.

I'm September, too. Hachi did most of the photos, he had me hold a tank shell all awkward for some reason, I don't know.

So what happened while I was gone?

Welcome home, buddy! You didn't miss much... been sorta a quiet time around here. The weight room is looking good... everything is cleaned and ready for use and it's seen a little traffic in the evenings and weekends.

A little traffic's alright, but it needs to see a lot of traffic. Football's only like a month away, guys should be down there every afternoon gettin' ready.

Huh!! Y'know what? I'd almost forgotten about that! Hey, we should talk to Captain Falcon about when tryouts and stuff are gonna be this year. And see who's gonna be on the team this time around... a couple of the old crew have graduated or left so we got spaces to fill... and maybe we can even get some of the tougher guys who didn't play last year to sign up this time.

Either way we should really work on getting the team in shape this year. Training last year was great but I bet we can kick it up a notch. Or five.

We really gotta get the New and Improved Daisy in the team this year - I think on offensive. My little buddy Tails too - He might not look it but he's no slouch and his ability to fly would be a definite plus. Heck, thinking along those lines, we should try recruiting Pit, too - if he can catch Footballs like he can re-claim Beers, he'll be a great for interception. I'm also thinking it might be worth our time getting Bowser Jr. on the team - I dunno if you've ever had much to do with him, but the kid is built like a brick on legs and the spiky shell would make him a tough customer for tackling.

Yeah, last year Capcom High had that kid with the rocket suit - it ain't fair if they can fly and we can't, so both that Tails kid and Pit would probably be good.

They're awful scrawny, though.

Brick on legs sounds good, though. Bowser Jr. so he's like that giant lizard guy who made fun of Parakarry's kid? That guy's huge so if his kid's a smaller version of that that'd be really good.

Probably ain't too fast, though. Should probably put him on the line for tackle or somethin' like that. Stick him with me, I'm not runnin' anywhere.

Except that one time with Avi. I almost had it. Then that stupid Russian guy and the guy with the red tights showed up. I ain't supposed to run nothin' and I almost ran Avi to a touchdown.

They're both kinda small - but Tails is FAST so we could definitely use him as a runner and being harder to tackle is no disadvantage there. I gotta talk to him about it though - I dunno if it would really be his thing but we definitely need some dudes who can get us air time this season.

And you got it - He looks pretty much just like that Bowser guy, but smaller, yeah. Despite his size though, he's still pretty rough looking and he talks mean. Never had much to do with him but I think we could put him to use if he wants in.

And hey - don't talk yourself down man. That was a GREAT run - If that ugly Capcom dude hadn't messed it all up, it would have easily been the best run of the game. I still couldn't believe it was NESTER who came through on it in the end though.... THAT was a shocker.
