So, that snow we had a few days ago was fun. Slowpoke and I went sleddin' on Blastoise! That was different. I never went sledding on a giant turtle before. I guess I didn't used to have any friends who were also giant turtles. But now I've got one! So, it was nice. Slowpoke doesn't like his stocking cap very much but he doesn't have any hair, so I think he needs to wear it. I can't find any mittens that'll fit his funny feet. Anyway, thanks for lettin' us ride on your back, Blastoise, and I hope I didn't break your shell. I'm kinda heavy.

I've really been enjoyin' the soups and stuff Nancy's been makin' lately. A man needs soup to keep warm in the winter! I had five bowls of beef stew yesterday! It was good.

Has anybody seen Sami? There was some paintball in Military class with Lt. Surge and she never showed up. I posted on her journalthing but she never answered back. I mean, paintball is right up her alley - she's about as crazy for infantry as I am for tanks! I went by her room but I couldn't find her.

Also, Commander Olaf's here! He's a nice guy once you get to know him. Real good with Blue Moon. Grit's his best friend! He'll be a substitute teacher I guess. There were a bunch of rainbows the other day after the snowstorm. I don't think that was Olaf. That was probably somebody else. Olaf doesn't do rainbows.

Slowpoke's nibblin' at my foot. I don't know what he wants. I think he still isn't happy with me makin' him wear that hat but it's cold outside.
