I spent almost an entire week beatin' up pokemon birds and mice and bugs and snakes and ground chucks.

Entire week.

Never learned a new move, not even one. Bubble, tackle, withdraw, flash canon (I had to look that stuff up to figure out what it was all called). That was it. The entire time.

A week of beatin' guys up and didn't learn jack. I counted, I beat up 52 birds, 31 mice, 65 bugs, 12 snakes, 42 ground chucks and 17 other things.

Is that normal?

I was tryin' to learn how to use Hydro Blast. But I never even learned how to use Water Gun. Even Slowpoke can use water gun.

Wow, I'd think after beatin' up that much you'd get some experience...But I wouldn't know 'cause I ain't been a Pokemon before. I'm still learnin' about 'em too.

They're pokemon. You ever walked around outside with a pokemon for awhile? Every couple of minutes somebody is jumpin' outta the grass to attack you.

::So there is this Blastoise. Kickin' around the forest. There is this trail of beat up, barely conscious rattatas, pidgies, and bidoofs through the forest that leads to where he is.

On top of a hill. With a giant boulder. That it has been carrying up. There are several giant boulders on top of the hill. And now, finally, it was settling down on its back to... yes was it... it seemed that it was bench pressing the largest boulder.::

Well, it certainly wasn't Green's Blastoise, and Char doesn't exactly know a whole lot of Blastoises, so he's gonna go see what the deal is with this guy. Just give him a minute to stomp up the hill and growl some poglespeak at said Blastoise. Might as well see if it's a real pogle or a mock-pogle.]

[Oh, great. Another one talking in retard-speak. Must be a human gone wrong, then. Char lumbers over and plonks himself down by Maxtoise, staring at the boulder with mild disinterest. Then he gives the Blastoise's shell a little kick. He has no idea what this thing's trying to accomplish, but this is his turf and he does hate Blastoises. It can haul boulders elsewhere.]

[It's smiling at him, but it happens to be a proven fact that Char has a deep-rooted need to punch every Blastoise ever right in its stupid smug face. Thus, what he perceived was not a friendly greeting, but a stupid smug smirk all over that stupid smug Blastoise's stupid smug face.

So he decided that if this Blastoise was going to be a jerk -- as Blastoises are wont to do -- he would simply have to react in kind. Thus, here is one (1) Brick Break smashing Max's nice boulder.]

He stood up, but now instead of smiling he looked like a kicked puppy.
