A letter he wrote to Nell

Dear Nell,

I'm sorry you had to go back to Orange Star. But I understand on account of you bein' in charge of the Orange Star Army and all. You've got duties you have to take care of. I mean, Hatchi can't run everything by himself. Well, he probably could, he's real good at runnin' things but you know what I mean. He's supposed to be retired and all.

So, uh, I'll miss seein' you every day, and I'll miss seein' you in class sometimes, too. Grit'll probably miss you, too. Maybe he'll write you a letter, too.

Colin up and left, too. He had to go back to Blue Moon on account of somethin' I don't know. It had to do with Sasha.

I'll keep workin' here and tryin' to get my degree so you and the rest of Orange Star can be proud of me. Don't look good to have a CO without at least a high school diploma under his belt, right?
